The team behind Atlassian Learning would like to introduce ourselves - hello!

We’re the folks who build the training and certifications you see rolled out regularly on Atlassian Learning.

We’re welcoming the Community into our world with a new series called “Behind the scenes with Atlassian Learning.” If you’ve ever been curious about how training and certifications are brought to life — and why — this series is for you. We’ll get into our philosophies and strategies, and we’ll talk about how we use Atlassian products ourselves.

If there’s anything you’d like to know, we take requests! We’d love to hear your thoughts and comments (and epiphanies and inspirations) along the way, too.

Atlassian Learning is led by Marshall Walker Lee, Head of Customer Education. Marshall lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife and children. Prior to joining Atlassian, he worked as a journalist, design researcher, high school teacher, and film producer.

 ☀️ Who we are

Atlassian Learning is built from three teams: Solutions & Programs, Learning Content Design, and Credentials & Certifications.

• The Learning Solutions & Programs team designs and builds the structure of Atlassian Learning and makes sure everyone visiting has the information, resources, and access they need.

• The Learning Content Design team uses research-driven best practices to help learners absorb and retain information.

• The Credentials & Certifications team creates opportunities for growth and advancement, for beginners and professionals.

Each team works together to realize Atlassian Learning’s mission to inspire, educate, and validate our community.

We’re excited to share more about ourselves and our work. We hope you’ll join us 🚀
