Hey everyone!
I’m super excited to share that I’m now ACP-100 certified – Jira Administration for Data Center!
This certification proves the skills to configure, manage, and support Jira Data Center, helping both development and business teams get the most out of the platform.
My journey with Jira DC started back in January 2024, when the client I work for rolled out the 1000-user deployment. Since then, I’ve been part of the admin team. We kicked things off with a basic admin course from our license provider, and from there it’s been a daily learning (and growing!) experience.
The certification material suggests having 2+ years of Jira admin experience since the exam is heavily based on real-world scenarios. This is actually my very first admin role, so I don’t even have 2 years yet. My original plan was to prepare slowly and take the exam later on, but with the news that ACP-100 will be retired on Sept 11, 2025, I had to fast-track my plans.
And it worked out — I passed with a 90% score!
Just wanted to share this milestone with you all — and maybe inspire other admins who are also on this path.
Congratulations on achieving your ACP-100! 🎉 That’s a big milestone and a reflection of your hard work.
Good to heat that and congratulations on your achievement. I am also in the same boat of certification. Looking for some guidance in preparing the exam. Could you please help on this??
I followed all the instructions at
https://community.atlassian.com/learning/collection/certification-prep/jira-administration-for-data-center-prep.
But please note: the deadline to take the exam is September 11, 2025.
Unfortunately, Data Center end of life will take place on March 28, 2029, as Atlassian announced today at https://www.atlassian.com/migration.
