What next after ACP-120?

Hi Atlassians,

I'm an early professional with nearly 2 years of experience as Jira admin on DC so following the fomo of cloud I decided to complete ACP-120 so I can be ready in whatever scenario even if my current org moves to cloud or some other opportunity is there for the taking

But as I have completed my certification I'm facing a dilemma of what next?

Should I go back to ACP-620 or should explore JSM and Confluence to widen my Atlassian suite knowledge or do something else to grow as well as integrate other skills with Atlassian base knowledge that I posses like project management cert PSM or CSM??

If someone can suggest me a way forward that would really great

Greetings. Firstly, congratulations on passing the ACP-120, that is not an easy feat, and you should be proud having accomplished that. 

Answering your question is not easy, as it really depends what tools you work with in the Atlassian ecosystem. Jira? JSM? Confluence? Cloud only or also DC? I personally wrote the ACP-620 first, followed by the ACP-120 shortly thereafter. Both complement each other, and the scope of the ACP-620 is more contained. On that note, a logical next step would be to go after the ACP-620 then.  There is overlap in both exams, to a degree.

As far as certifications after that ... consider ACP-520 (Org. Admin) to round it out (it required diligent study, but I found it to be easier compared to 120/620).

If you work in JSM extensively, certainly pursue the ACP-420.  It is not an easy exam. TBH, I found it to be the most challenging I have written, and requires diligent preparation and practicing all configuration elements in your own sandbox. Therefore, I would only write it after you have worked in JSM extensively. But pursuing the exam is well worth the effort as it forces you to digest every detail in the tool, otherwise you cannot pass the cert. exam.
