Google Calendar Sync: Wrong Event Type and No Trello Update

Hi everyone,

I'm testing the Trello beta and ran into two issues with the Google Calendar sync:

1. All my Trello cards are showing up in Google Calendar as "Out of office" by default, instead of regular events. Is there a way to change the type of event Trello syncs as?

2. Also, if I update the due date or time of a Trello card directly in Google Calendar (or Planner), it doesn’t reflect back in Trello. Am I missing something or is this expected behavior?

1. The event type should be a "focus" event and not an "out of office". If you wouldn't mind sharing a screenshot of what you see that might help clarify.

This is what mine looks like and it is considered a "focus" event type in Google.

An OOO event type would look like this:

2. The intention of the Planner is to be a view that sits on top of an external calendar with the ability to sync events but the due dates on the cards that get associated with those events aren't meant to adjust the times on the event itself. Does that make sense?

Yes¡¡ This is exactly what i see¡¡  
I see my trello cards as "Focus time" event... 

Ohhh now it make sense with the due date.. i was trying to use the planner as i use "TASKS" in Google directly... 

Maybe, as an idea, the event date and time in calendar (google calendar in my particular case) could be synked with a custom field (date format) because otherwise i have to change the dates both in planner and in the card.. 

I haven´t seen this yet or maybe is not a beta purpose... how can i integrate the INBOX cards in automations?

While you're asking about Trello beta and Google Calendar sync, I'd also like to know... should I be able to edit appointments in my Google Calendar from the Trello window or is it meant to be view only?  Thanks!

Hi @Connect2 Corporation ,

The intention is more of a view off the external calendar and the ability to sync events created and modified in Trello. i.e I can create an event in Trello and once synced, can modify it in either place. But an event that was originally created on Google Calendar can't be edited in Planner.

It should say "VIEW ONLY" in Planner when that is the case.
