I'm using the new 'Planner' feature with increasing efficiency.
I enjoy being able to drag-and-drop tasks to a date (normally the current day) without affecting their location on each board.
A few things that I would like to see (and maybe I'm doing it wrong)
1) The system defaults to a 30-minute time-slot.
It's not a big deal to expand the appointment window or edit the time, but it would be better if the system would allow a pre-determined amount of time estimated when the task is created that would block that amount of time on the planner calendar when placed.
2) I've set up some daily 'repetitive' tasks that happen every day to expedite populating the to-do list. It's quick to drag and drop these onto the planner. Suggest, when building the task, be able to designate it to appear automatically on the planner at XYZ time, on XYZ days of the week?
3) Can the label colors transfer to the planner? I use these to define types of task, and it would help to see focus and perhaps rearrange to avoid task switching.
4) If a task is completed and 'checked off' - it would be nice to have that show up on the planner, or perhaps crossed off (this may be shallow, but a sense of accomplishment at shut down for the day)
Thanks in advance for any user advice on these points or future consideration in the beta's development.

Completely agree about showing completed items in the planner as crossed off or some option like that. Would be very helpful to understand what I have done and then possibly share or review for management visibility, supervisor 1:1s, etc.
Thank you for using Planner @Kevin S_ Moul , and for this great feedback.
#1 - Agreed, and we'll be working on this.
#2 - Totally. This is also something we are working on.
#3 - Good idea for us to consider. I'll pass it all to the right teams.
#4 - You can mark a card complete on a board, and this will be reflected in Planner. And vice versa, you can mark a card complete in Planner - and it will be reflected on a board.

Perhaps you have a different version pf the beta , or is there a preference to be adjusted - mine does not show the check mark in the planner window. This task is checked complete.

Oh, I see.
You'll need at least 60 min focus time slot to see individual cards, with "mark complete" element (otherwise there is not enough space to fit it nicely).
For shorter focus time slots like this, you can click into it -> see your attached cards -> mark complete from there.

Thank you for this clarification. You can file my reply in the 'stupid user' box for not noticing (and for me having too many thirty-minute tasks)... that said, these aren't going away for me and it would be nice to see them somehow marked completed.

No such box! Just food for thought for us how to reflect "Complete / Not complete" status even for shorter focus time slots.

Is it possible to choose only one Google calendar in the planner? If I have multiple calendars, is it not possible to choose which calendar to associate the card with in the planner ?

You can choose which of the calendars you'd like to see (or not) in Planner. At this time, you can create focus time for your tasks / cards only in the default calendar. We are considering an option to choose other calendars for that, in the future.

.hanks for the reply, two things: 1. If I insert a card into the planner, it directly links to my default personal calendar. 2. The ability to change the Google calendar schedule in the planner.
