I'm an indie creative and haven't had the budget for Pro since I started using Trello years ago, but it's still the best organisation tool I've used, period.

The Inbox and Planner have been a HUGE boost to productivity, and I'm really hoping it'll become part of the core Trello experience, as opposed to another Pro addition.

Keep up the quality service!

Hi @Zach Harris! The Inbox and quick capture features will be available to all users regardless of their subscription plan. However, the Planner is only available on Standard, Premium and Enterprise plans. You can check which features are available for each subscription here: https://trello.com/pricing. I hope that helps!

oh this is so good to know! I hadn't heard about the Planner feature being for paid plans only. I will make sure to update how I answer this question! Thanks @Sal

To clarify:

  • You can use all forms of Quick Capture (from email, Slack, Microsoft Teams) on all plans, but AI summaries are available only on paid plans (Standard and above)
  • You can use Planner on all plans, but scheduling focus time would be available only on paid plans (Standard and above)

@Victor Dronov Follow up question(s) on your clarification.

  • I can do Quick Capture from Teams? How? (ok, I just found this...so excited to try it out.)
  • How would one use Planner without scheduling Focus Time? Do you mean that it won't go back and block out the time on your synced calendar (Google or Outlook (hopefully, soon!), or you won't be able to drop cards into the Planner in a free plan (since that automatically creates a Focus time)

  • Yay, Teams! Please ask any questions you may have about this new Microsoft Teams integration. More surprises to come!
  • In the future, when Beta is concluded, users on a Free plan would be able to connect their calendar and see their day/week schedule next to their to-dos in Trello. Any additional functionality however (e.g. scheduling a focus time slot or dragging a card onto Planner) would be available in any of Trello's paid plans.

Trello's Standard plan would be the best choice for individual productivity minded person and it costs the same as one Starbucks cup of coffee for the entire month.

Got it! Thanks for that detailed clarification @Victor Dronov !

I do have one more question. Not about the new Teams integration (yet, I'm sure I'll have some soon!), but I recently realized that I don't know where the Workspace views ended up with the new UI. They used to be in the left-hand menu view of the Workspace, but now that we don't have that view, how do I see, for example, my Workspace Calendar view?

Hi Kelly! I can jump in here. Head to the board switcher > click the workspace name in the top of the board switcher (under search) and then you will see an expand called workspace views.
