Who are the people in the Trello ecosystem (who don't work for Atlassian)

Following on from the Who-is-the-Trello-team discussion, I thought I'd create one for those who are involved in the Trello ecosystem as consultants, power-up developers, influencers and more....

I'll start.

I'm Mike (Dreamsuite Mike) and I have been using Trello since 2014. After years working with software that is ugly, over-complicated, over-controlled, top down developed, I was fed up with software designed to be purposely complex (because complexity sells) and has no interest in giving the users what they need.  I stumbled across Trello when a dev team I was working with was using Trello for their day-to-day work and for information radiators because what they were forced to use by the company sucked so bad.

I later went on to introduce Trello in every company I went to after that and the response from teams, management and customers was always incredible.  In 2017 I started working for a company who told me they wanted to have systems for sales, project management, customer support and more and I realised I could build it all with Trello.  The same year, Butler automation came along and changed absolutely everything for me.  What could be done with Trello went way beyond anything other tools could do

Since 2021, I have been running my own consultancy business, which was going to be project management and business systems consultancy but it quickly became a Trello consultancy.  I have been building Trello solutions for individuals, small businesses up to large corporations and they love it because it is everything all the other tools out there aren't.  It is so unique in its design, simplicity and flexibility, nothing else comes close and I just love it.

Over the past 18 months, I have been teaming up more with the legendary @Brittany Joiner  for Trello projects, sharing ideas and generally nerding out about Trello as much as possible.  We started Trello Trailblazers Atlassian community where we hold on average 1 event per month talking about all things Trello.

There is nothing I love more than using Trello, talking Trello, pushing Trello to its limits and sharing it with others who love it as much as I do

Who's next?

I've been using Trello for almost 3 years now. It's helped me in so many ways! I love the software and I love pushing it to the limits, making it do new things and meet higher expectations than what the internet says is possible. I think with some additional creativity there are so many unexpected use cases for such a powerful tool. I especially love exploring avenues that don't involve other tools, when possible. The less dependencies, the better, in my view!

I have a passion for technical support, and I like to help people with their Trello questions, providing answers on a few different sites to some of the more difficult asks. I only recently became active here. I approach every problem with an attitude of "it's possible!"

Trello helps me be creative and not let the little things slip by. I want to empower others to have a similar experience, and to unlock their potential by letting Trello take care of the administration duties.

I've loved getting more involved, and look forward to contributing what I can to this awesome project!

Love this idea @Daydreamer Mike !

I'm Kelly and I've been using Trello since the days of Trello Gold (and if you know what that is, then you are truly 'my people'! LOL)

I've been an organic ambassador for Trello since way back then, but started to formalize that more in 2020 when I started the Tech-Savvy Academy - an on demand online Academy, intended for solopreneurs, to help them learn all of the tools that help them manage their business on their own. That quickly became very heavily reliant on Trello as, in my opinion, it is the BEST tool to be used as the framework of a small business.

In the past few months, I also started another aspect of my business as a Trello consultant for solopreneurs and small businesses and I am LOVING it!

I see a Trello board as the answer to just about any question I receive from my clients and they expect that answer from me now 😅

I also have a YouTube channel where a disproportionate number of my videos are Trello tutorials.

I just joined in the Beta and I'm excited to look around at all the new goodies! I think the hardest part is going to be knowing of things that my clients need (and would love) that are coming down the line, but not being able to give them access to it right away!
