Map Power-Up to be Fully Deprecated on April 1, 2025

Hey Trello Community!

We want to let you know: The Map Power-Up will be fully deprecated on April 1, 2025.

It will remain active until April 1, 2025 on boards where it’s currently enabled. After April 1, 2025, the Map Power-Up will be removed from all boards. You will no longer be able to view the Map or location data stored on cards on boards in free-tier workspaces.

Please note, the Map Power-Up is different from the Map View. The Map View is not affected. If you have a paid workspace, all boards in that workspace will continue to have access to the Map View as normal. This depreciation notice only affects boards in free workspaces that have the Map Power-Up enabled.

Thank you.  If you have locations with the power up currently on a Free Workspace board and you move the board to a paid workspace, will the info remain or will it have to be setup again?

@Tracy The info will remain. When the Map Power-Up is fully deprecated, all card location data on free boards will be hidden but not deleted. Upgrading your workspace or moving the board to a paid workspace will restore the data, and you do not need to setup location data again on your cards.
