ALl the cards are not showing on one of my boards

the cards are visible on other boards but not on one - how do i make them appear- i clicked on my name and clicked on cards but they did not appear

It looks like a Search Cards filter is currently active for the board, which hides the cards if there are no results. Try pressing 'x' on the keyboard to clear the search on that board, or click the 'x' next to the search results panel:

Are the boards/cards linked in any way?

If they're showing on one board but not the other, that would say to me that they 'live' on the original board and that if you have a Butler command set up, it's not doing what it should. 

Cards live in only 1 board, you can move them into another one, or have Butler do this for you, but unless you use Unito (I believe that's the one), they only 'live' in one board.
