I have an old Trello account that may have been setup before the Atlassian transition (@jadereichling3), which I am unable to access, but I believe uses the same e-mail I used to create my Atlassian account. I've run out of options to log into that account and have exhausted the help articles. Is it possible to access this account somehow? I'd like to setup admin access to the boards on my Atlassian-based account.
Hi @Jade Reichling, welcome to the Atlassian Community!
I checked the account jadereichling3 and it's linked to a different email address than the one you used to post this question. The email address seems to belong to a company domain rather than a personal email address.
I attempted to send a password recovery email to that address to assist you in locating your account; however, upon reviewing the logs, it appears that the emails are being bounced back. This may indicate that the email address no longer exists.
For security reasons, Atlassian support is unable to change the email address associated with your account. Your best bet is to contact your former employer to ask if they may be able to help you reclaim your account by temporarily activating your old email address. Once your old email address is activated, you can recover your password at https://id.atlassian.com/login/resetpassword.
If I can provide Atlassian with documentation that I owned that domain and business, can it be transferred to my active email and account?

Unfortunately, Atlassian is unable to verify your identity, even if you can demonstrate that you owned that domain. However, if you regain access to the domain, you may be able to recover your account.

I had it shared with my primary Trello account as of two days ago, and mistakenly removed access when I was trying to switch it to admin access. Is there a way to restore management access by reversing a change from less than 48 hours?

I'm sorry, but there is no way to revert the changes, and the support team does not have the tools needed to add you to that board or Workspace. The only way to gain access now is through the original email mailbox.
Additionally, you might want to check if you're still logged into your old account on another device.

@Carolina Lopez I'm actually experiencing the exact same issue -- I have a board under username @meghandamour1 which I think should be under the same email address that my Atlassian login is, so I can't login to the old account or reset the password.
Could you verify that that board is under the same email address, and if so, either delete it and that other account or move it into my account with the Atlassian login?
Thank you for any help you can provide!

Hi @Meghan Williams!
I wanted to clarify that Trello does not allow the creation of two accounts with the same email address.
I checked the account meghandamour1, and it appears to be linked to a university email address. I sent a password reset request, but it bounced back, indicating that you didn't receive it.
I recommend contacting your former university for assistance in accessing that account.

Ah, got it, thank you very much!
Is there a way I can verify ownership of that account without accessing that email address in order to have you all delete it on my behalf? I haven't worked at that university in over 5 years so I doubt they'll be able to assist me.

I'm afraid there is no way to verify ownership of an Atlassian account. However, we have a feature suggestion that you can vote on. You can access it here: ID-8819
I recommend you visit that suggestion, log in with your Atlassian account, and click Start watching this issue on the right panel. This will help our product and engineering team understand more about which functionalities our users are interested in. Also, when the ticket is updated by our product team, you'll be notified via email.
