Hello!

So we had accidentally copied an entire list of "Orders"

We archived the list, so we didn't have duplicate cards popping up,

But now when we search for individual orders, both the original and archived card are showing up.

We'd prefer not to have to worry about accidentally putting important notes on the archived/copied cards/lists.

Is there a way to turn off archived lists/cards from the search function?

Hi @Quinn Carnahan, Welcome to the community!

The search functionality will include archived cards by default until you use a dedicated search operator to exclude them or use filters in advanced search.

So either select the filter in advance search "Do not show closed board and archived cards", or use the search operator is:open to filter your search results to only show active (open) cards.

Just pop that into the search box with your usual search terms, and it should do the trick.

We do have an open suggestion request for the same, which you can find here:

Thank you !

I do see that there is a way to delete the archived cards, but wondering if we would have to delete all of the accidentally archived cards, or if there's a way to remove them from the search function.

Thanks!
