Are there plans to fix the auto double-space issue?

Everything we type into the Description or Activity boxes is now double-spaced when it was always single spaced before. It's making the cards stupidly and unnecessarily long and it's incredibly annoying. I don't want to hit Shift+Enter every time I create a new line of text, this is not how any other text editor works. Does anyone know if there any plans to fix this? Why did they even implement this in the first place?

While you're at it, you should share the feedback to Trello so that it brings it to their attention...

I also found this very frustrating. I ended up just turning off the new editor and I still use the old Markdown editor and haven't had the problem since.

If you click on the Share Feedback button to the bottom right of the editor box, and select Turn Off, you will return to the old Markdown editor. This works on PC, but I don't use Trello on mobile or tablet, and so not sure if it would work the same.
