Automate sending email address of new card

I am trying to set up as much automation as I can within Trello.

One thing I need is when a new card is created in a certain list, an email would be created, sending the name of the card and the email address for this card, so people can send emails to that card.

Maybe there is a different way to do this. We are in a production environment, and want to use Trello to set up a job, then when someone has changes to the job, they can send an email to the card, and the card would send an email to the appropriate person.

To do that, we would need to notify people of the card's email address.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Blanche

Hi @Blanche Brantley - I don't believe we have this capability in Trello. We recommend that changes are done in the platform, and don't have the ability to automate the email address of a card (I'm assuming this is the unique email address for a card that makes all emails sent to it comments).

Thank you for answering.

I have since discovered that any emails sent to a card using the card's share email address, would post as if they were coming from me, regardless of the sender, so this option wouldn't really work for us anyway.

It would work if a card had an email address that was unique to the card but did not reference the person who made the card.
