Board looks faded

Vanessa Romero November 22, 2024

Hi!

My board looks faded even though I don't have the ¨Card Aging Power Up¨ enabled. I've already tried to clear the cache, refresh my page, and check for other power-ups that might be affecting the board, but nothing.

Anything else I can do about this? Here is the SS

Thanks!

Hello, Vanessa

Welcome to the community.

is this also happening on incognito mode? This looks like the carding age PUP, but you mentioned you are not using it, let's discard browser issues first then. Can you share the URL of this board?

Kind Regards

Hi, Allison!

Thanks!

I looked on incognito mode and the board looks good with no fading cards. This is the URL of the board!

Thanks,

Hello, Vanessa

Thank you for sharing the URL. Our system is not currently showing the Aging Pup feature as enabled, which is typically what causes the boards to appear as they do in the screenshot you provided. However, since incognito mode works, it suggests that the Aging Pup may have been enabled at some point in the past and subsequently removed, leaving some cached data behind. Could you please clear your cache and cookies, then log in again to see if the issue persists?

Hi, Allison,

I did that and the issue persists. I also enabled and disabled the Card Aging Power-Up again to check if it made any changes and it didn't, it also looks like this power-up doesn't work in the faded lists, only the first one. I've also tried creating a new list but it's designed like the rest.

If you know anything else I can try to fix this, let me know.

Thanks!

Hello, Vanessa

Thanks for testing out, that's a weird case for sure. Can you confirm what browser are you using? Can you also test on a different one to see if the issue persists? Like, if you are using chrome, can you try on firefox?

Hi Allison,

I'm using Chrome, I tried with Firefox and the board looks good, no fading cards!

I created a new board (using Chrome again) and it looks like it doesn't have that problem, could it be a bug or some other issue with preexisting boards only? Is there any other thing I can do?

Thanks a lot!!

Hey, Vanessa!

Thanks for the tests, hopefully we can find the solution. Can you check if on your extensions you don't have anything enabled that can be trigger anything on Trello? If you have, let's disable. Also, not sure if you cleared all the caches and cookies from all the time on your browser or just for the recents days, might be worth a try.

Last case scenario since creating a new board is not triggering the problem, you can make a copy of everything you need to this new board and this will also solve the issue. You can check the documentation below to more details
