I create project cards on board one, based on the salesperson listed in the name of that card a copy of that card is created in board two and linked. Board one is used to schedule project dates, board two is seen by salespeople so they can see there projects. When a start date is added to the card on board one I want the start date to also be added to the copy/linked card.
Based on your description, it sounds like you have add a date to the name of the copied card and add the associated automation to recognise the change to set the due on the copied card. Try it.
