Weekly Zoom meetings. When I'm sharing the screen, card details take up too much of the Zoom Sharescreen. Can we either
Hi Ann!
Right now, Trello doesn’t allow you to “collapse” the card details and show only the comments section. The card layout always includes the description and fields at the top.
That said, here are a couple of practical workarounds that other teams use when screen-sharing during meetings:
Open the card in a separate window (click “More actions” → “Open card in new window”). This way, you can resize that window to focus on the comments while keeping the rest out of view.
Use the browser zoom / window size to make the comments the main visible area. It’s not perfect, but it keeps the focus where you want it.
If your main use case is live discussions in Zoom, you could also try creating a dedicated list or board for “discussion notes,” so you’re not digging into full cards during the call.
Hope it helps!
In addition to what Antonio said, we have a similar feature request: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TRELLO-1364
I have added this post as a +1 to that request so that way our engineering team can reference it and also use it to help align priority. If you wish, you can click *Start watching this issue* on the right panel. This will help our product and engineering team understand more about which functionalities our users are interested in. Also, when the request is updated by our product team, you'll be notified via email.
