Can Trello implement keyboard shortcuts for moving a card up and down a list?

Trello has keyboard shortcuts for moving a card between adjacent lists, but it doesn't have any shortcuts for one of the most common user actions: moving a card up or down a list. Could we get a shortcut for this? For example Control + Up for moving a card up?

Another way to manage this would be to make a smarter cut and paste, so that I could use the keyboard to cut a card, and then hit the Up key  to go up the list to the position where I want that card to be, and then paste. That would move the card to the desired position in the list.

These keyboard shortcuts would make Trello a lot faster to use, especially for sorting lists according to card priorities for a project.

I'm not exactly sure where to post this feature request, so if anyone can help me get it to the Trello product managers, I would definitely appreciate it.

Hi Jonathan, welcome to the community.

Thanks a lot for your suggestion! I have gone ahead and created a new feature suggestion for you with our product team which you can access here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TRELLO-1566

I have also added this post as an internal comment to this suggestion so that way our engineering team can reference it and also use it to help align priority. I would also recommend you visit that suggestion, log in with your Atlassian account, and click Start watching this issue on the right panel. This will help our product and engineering team understand more about which functionalities our users are interested in. Also, when the sugestion is updated by our product team, you'll be notified via email.

You can learn more about this by reading our Implementation of New Features Policy: New Features Policy
