Can a word be linked on a trello checklist?

Can a word be linked on a trello checklist? I'd like the word to be a clickable link as opposed to having the full URL listed at the end.

What a great question, and happily the answer is yes, using markdown!

This is the bit that you're looking for - it's the first picture on the page

So, what you'd have to do is have something that looked like this:

[Word](https://whatever the link is here)

And it would just appear as Word

Possibly unrelated, but if you link to trello cards (either via Share or just copying the url with the card open) it will turn it in to a link automatically. The text would be stuck on the card title though.
