Can't add a list on my board

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
I created a new board that is shared and there isn't an "add a list" on the board. The board is blank.
I think it's a bug but I can't even submit a bug report so I'm at a loss. Anyone have similar issues?
