Cannot invite individuals to the boards

Hello, I'm running Trello for several companies and individuals that join, very common use case. So for privacy reasons we don't want to invite them into a team; just 1 board. Trello was the only service that offered this; you can't do this in Asana, Jira (without massive config) or Monday.com

Now I don't have the option to invite individuals? Is there any reason why you're taking good functionality away from a simple nice product with this teams crap?

You absolutely have the option to invite individuals to a board. 

The board must be part of a team which you can think of as a workspace. However when you add someone to the board it does NOT add them to the team (unless you explicitly do that).
