Hi,
When I want to access Trello, it tries to login with my company atlassian account and tells me that I never used trello before and asks if I want to create an account for my company email.
Problem is, I have no option to switch that email to the personal account I already created in the past which I used to work with trello.
Also in this forum: I have the option to switch accounts in the upper right, but when I do, I am able to login with my personal account, but it automatically switches back to my company account.
Please fix this account mess.
There should be an easy option to select the account you want to login with. I don't always want to open a private window when I want to work with trello.
All Atlassian products - Trello, Jira, Confluence, etc - use a common account. So if you switch to your company account in one browser tab then it will switch to the same account for all the other products across all your tabs.
If you want to login to Trello using your personal account but login to Jira using your company account, then it is best to access them through different browsers.
To clarify:
- I do not have any tabs with other atlassian apps open,
- when I open trello, it tells me to register, but there is a button I can click with something like "You already have an account? Log in" (I cannot tell you the exact message because of another problem: couldn't find a way to switch languages)
- When I click that, I am forwarded to a page that goes like "Looks like you are the first time at Trello" and "Do you want to create a Trello account with your existing atlassian account <my@email.adress>?" Two buttons: "Create Account" and "Do nothing" (I guess, German translation is a bit strange)
- There is no option to switch accounts.
