Is it possible to change my identity name for things like updates/activities/creating cards, etc? I have built out an extensive network of boards, rules, and syncs for a variety of teams. I'd like to change my profile to another name like "Project Administrator" so that it shows in the card activities and details that way. I tried changing my "username" on the "Profile and Visibility" page but that just changes how I'm identified in the community, not in card/board activity.
It is possible to 'create' a dummy team member for all Butler commands, all you need is a different email address. But, and this is a big but, if you have a BC team, this member will be chargeable, even though they're not a real person and only being used for Butler purposes. Then all the butler commands could come from that account and your comments and actions wouldn't be overlooked. However, if you have multiple teams, and their BC teams and not free teams, then the user would be chargeable on all teams.
To get this done, you would need to have your account open with all your butler rules on one Chrome page, then open an Incognito window and open the second account, and add your existing rules to the new account and remove them from your account. It's a bit of work to get it done, and every time you wanted a new rule, you'd have to add it to the second account rather than yours, but it could be done.
But, if you think that the cost of another team member is worth it, then it can be done this way.
I don't know if this is a "sanctioned" way to do it (creating essentially a 'butler' user), but it would solve the problem.
Don't know if this helps or not?
Esme :)
Ok yes! A lot of work for sure, but that would address the issue. Thank you so much

Hi Meteena,
In checking out your Trello account, I see it's linked to Atlassian account. Now that your account is linked to Atlassian, inside Trello, the only identifier you can update is your Trello username (the one that people @mention you with in Trello) - you can update this from https://trello.com/me.
To edit your other personal information like your public name and profile visibility settings for your overall Atlassian account profile, you'll do this from https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/profile-and-visibility. There, you can edit your avatar, Full Name, Public name, email, and make changes to who your profile information is visible to. When you update information in your Atlassian account profile, it will sync to Trello automatically. More about editing your Atlassian account profile here. Let me know if this raises any additional questions!

@Blair at Atlassian Thank you for the reply, Blair! But I'm guessing that these won't change how I'm identified in card activity? The main problem is that all of the sync and butler actions are identified as me, rather than an entity. Team members burn out on seeing my name so they have started to gloss over my actual comments and actions.
