Chrome / Trello Spell Check Issue

Chrome highlights spelling errors in Trello but a right click no longer provides suggestions for correct spelling - I've turned the spell check in the browser off and on again as suggested in a separate thread. The suggestions for correct spellings appear correctly on other websites, including this one. Any ideas or a fix?

Normally the spellcheck is done based on the system or browser settings that you have set up on your own device, rather than spell check being supplied by Trello.

We're not aware of the spell-check issue with Chrome on Trello. We recommend clearing your browser cache, ensuring Chrome is updated, and checking any conflicting extensions. If the problem persists.

I'd recommend looking into your device or browser settings and adjusting spell-check options there, for example, here are the instructions for Chrome: https://support.google.com/toolbar/answer/146786?hl=en

While we can't endorse them, you might also check out some third-party browser integrations like Grammarly or Spell Check by Smart Software.

Thank you Vishaal, removing my Chrome extensions fixed this issue - i can't say which one though as i did them all at once. Thank you.

I have this issue as well. For me it was the Trello Shortcuts Killer extension, which is far more valuable than Spell Check since they can't figure out how to disable shortcuts. Would much rather some spelling mistakes than all my boards get moved around randomly.
