Convert to Card feature doesn't work

Cards that are converted to card seem to disappear from the Board altogether. Must search for the original title in order to find the card but otherwise without the search, the card is not visible and cannot be found.

Found the problem, card converts but not shown on the board because no one is assigned.

Once I look in the history, I can see the card and then assign.

This is a user experience bug. Please fix. Auto-assign Convert to Card to author so the card is visible on the board for modification.
