DASHBOARDS - How to configure it ?

Hello,

I just upgraded to the premium version of Trello and I’m extremely disappointed with the Dashboards. My boards have numerous labels, but the charts only display some of them — why is that? Shouldn’t all labels be shown?

Additionally, there seems to be no way to configure the dashboards. Is the line chart really limited to just a single month?

There must be some way to adjust these settings, or perhaps there is an issue with my Trello account… this is almost ridiculous.

As a Trello consultant, I'll be totally honest with you about in-built Dashboards. They are in a word rubbish...

I can't recommend using them and certainly wouldn't have advised you to get Trello for dashboards.  They were implemented many years ago as a very basic way of visualising things.  They haven't been further enhanced since then. Luckily, there is so much about Trello that justifies it regardless of the dashboards feature being poor.

You can still get to where you want to be with Trello but it is likely only possible with power-ups.

I recommend looking at Placker and Blue Cat Reports

If it is more counters and statistics, check out the free power-up by Trello called Dashcards

You are right, the Dashboard view only offers a limited number of charts and they are not customizable. However, there are a few PowerUps that offer more customized reporting. For example check out Dashcards https://www.atlassian.com/blog/trello/dashcards-powerup
