Hi! I'm handling a lot of events to organize in parallel and I want to use Trello in order to have a better view and use an extension (Elegantt) to see well on a Gantt the status of everything.
For now I created a board for each category of my events (like social events, or trainings), and then a card for each event inside their respective board. And the deadline on the card is set with the date of the event.
For each event, there are several tasks to achieve, and I am not happy with the checklist. I would like to be able to have a deadline for each of the task, and also if possible to be able to assign those subtasks to members of my team, and it would be great to have also parent/child dependancies on those subtasks.
I know that Hello Epics exist, but I don't want a tool that we have to pay and especially each member.
Do you have any tool that could help me to organize my work and that could be free?

Projects by Placker power-up may be helpful, you can create dependencies between cards and boards.
