Different shortcuts available on different boards -- why?

For some reason I don't have access to the same shortcuts on all boards. 

What's even more baffling to me is that the shortcut menu actually changes from one board to the next, so it seems this is intentional, but I'm having a hard time imagining a rationale that would explain inconsistent behaviour as good UX...

I use the "R" shortcut more than any other, but (suddenly) can't access it in one of my primary boards. Anyone know what's up with this? 

I'm using the MacOS app 2.11.7.

The shortcut should be available on all boards, so I'd like to see if there is a reason that this isn't showing up on certain boards for you. Could you send the URL of the board in a support ticket here: https://trello.com/contact? Our Support team can take a look and see what may be causing this shortcut to not work on your board.
