Email Notifications for your personal cards & reminders

When someone creates a card for me & set's a reminder, an email is sent/received. And vice versa for cards I create for others.

However, when I create a card for myself & set a reminder, no email is received.

Any ideas on why this is happening? Creators of cards also need reminders...

I believe you will only get a reminder if you are a member i.e. assigned to the card. Creating a card does not automaticallly assign the card to yourself.   It is an extra step.  Hover over the card and press the spacebar to quickly assign the card to yourself.

Yes, I am a member and even clicked to follow/be a watcher on the card. When someone does it for me I get an email, when I create it & assign myself = no email.
