Email-to-board whenever I receive an email

We have a contact address and we would like each email we receive on that address to be automatically forwarded to our Trello board. I already set the forwarding email address to be the email address of the Trello board. However, that email address then needs to be verified, which is impossible because we can't access its mailbox.

What am I missing here? How can I directly forward an email to the Trello board?

The answer was actually obvious. The verification email appeared as a card on the board, where I could click the verification link.
