Free Trello - export to excel

Hi we use free Trello and want to export our data to excel. Noticed the option greyed out?

From my findings you cannot export to excel unless you have premium?

Here is what I use for export a board to excel with Free Trello. 

To export a free Trello board to excel, you can use the Chrome extension Trello for Excel.

Steps:
1. Install the Chrome Trello for Excel extension https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/export-for-trello/nhdelomnagopgaealggpgojkhcafhnin?pli=1 2.
2. In Trello, at the top right of the dashboard, click on the three little dots to bring up the menu.
3. Click on the Print, Export and Share button at the bottom of the menu.
4. Select Export Excel 

5. An excel file will be downloaded, where the rows are all the cards of that board, and the columns give the information of the cards: List, Title Description, Points, Due, Members, Labels, Card #, Card URL.
6. Sort, filter and work with the file as you like.

Tip: in Excel, adjust the text in the columns that have a lot of text, such as Description, so that everything is visible inside the cell.

You could use the Print and Export feature to get a CSV file, which can be opened in Excel. This isn't as seamless, but it might help in the meantime!
