Hey, I'm new to using Trello (free version with Premium trial) and I'm trying to integrate a GitLab project.

I have no other Power-Ups Enabled.

Following the Gitlab-Docs Trello_power_up following steps should be done to integrate the Power-up:

  1. Go to your Trello board.
  2. Select Power-Ups and find the GitLab row.
  3. Select Enable.
  4. Select Settings (the gear icon).
  5. Select Authorize Account.
  6. Enter the GitLab API URL and personal access token with the API scope.
  7. Select Save.

I have done steps 1 through 4, but there is no "Authorize Account" button, just a "disable" button (see picture).

I also tried Disabling the Power-Up and enabling again, as well as opening a new board and enabling it on there and creating a new Workspace with a new board.

Hi Tom,

Thanks for reaching out!

Hmm, it looks like the instructions in the GitLab help article are for the old process.

With the new process, you'll need to open a card on the board where you've enabled the GitLab Power-Up and then you can authorise your account from there.

To open the GitLab Power-Up on the back of a card, click on the rocket icon (🚀) and select GitLab. From there, select 'Attach Merge Request' and you should see a modal appear to authorise the Power-Up.

I hope that helps!
