I would like the ability to display the Date Created on the front of the card so it is visible on the board without having to click on it. Date only, no time.
Another use-case would be to display last-updated date, but Date Created is more interesting right now.
I have not been able to find any way to update how cards are displayed, i.e. what extra information can be added to the card.
I have found the Custom Fields power-up, and this is close but not exactly what I want, since I want to display the actual date-created, not some user-entered date field.
@Andrew Cohen the combination of a custom field plus automation via the API would do it. You could set the date field automatically when a card is created then it would always show on the front.
I swear there was a Chrome extension that did this too, Ultimello maybe ... but I couldn't find an example. Try out a few of the Chrome Extensions around, one of the popular ones had this functionality I'm sure.
Thanks, the API sounds promising though not sure where to start with that. The Chrome extension wouldn't really work because I'd have to force all users in the group to use that extension.

Hey Andrew,
As far as I'm aware it isn't possible to change what fields show on the front of Trello cards. I'm hopeful in the future that with all the Trello customization changes that are being made, this will be on the roadmap.
In the meantime, you may find more use out of JIRA - which has similar functionality and can show more values on the 'face' of the card in board views.
