Hello

I was using my board with the URL that I saved in my computer and I can't find it anymore. I tried to open with the same URL and by my own account, but I don't find my board anymore. I didn't exclude this board in any moment and I don't know what to do.

When I access my activities in the account area, it shows the last time I used, but it doesn't show any strange activity or any other problems to the board, just isn't there anymore.

How can I recover my board?

Using a URL is never the best option imo. If you renamed the board, Trello should be able to recover it from the old URL, but I'm not sure that always works, i.e. when the board has been transferred between workspaces or admins.

I did have an issue once where I'd removed myself as only admin (!) from a board and it only showed up in the app, not in the browser. That was during a crazy transition, but yeah, weirdness can occur. But other than that I've not seen boards disappear in 10+ (highly active) years on Trello.

I'm not sure I follow this entirely.

It shows the last time you used... what, Trello, or the board? Because if it says something like "user did x on card y on board z", then z is the board link.

Usually, search does find anything across all workspaces even in closed boards, even with the vaguest snippet of a card name or something in the description.

@Mia Tamm Is right that you should check my/boards but have you tried /w/yourworkspace?  If you've been removed from the board but it's set to 'Workspace visible', it could be there. Both of those offer to check for closed boards at the bottom as well.

Bar all that, Mia's also right about asking others, if there were any, who might even have deleted it, and check your mail for removed from board messages etc. You could test this by creating a new board, add another user you've created, then have them remove you and see what format that mail comes in as.

Last resort is to check if you're logged in with the right account, or was it a company managed account, did you create it to begin with or were you a guest, and so on. If all that fails, get support and flag it as a technical issue.

Hi there,

That sounds frustrating — I’ve seen similar situations before in Trello, and usually the board is still there, just a bit hidden.

Here are a few things you can try:

  1. Check your Trello Workspace(s): Sometimes the board is in a different workspace than expected. Go to https://trello.com/my/boards to see all boards you’re a member of.
  2. Try incognito mode or a different browser: If you're logged into the wrong account by mistake, this can help you notice it.
  3. Check your email: Look for past Trello notification emails about activity on the board — those usually include a working link.
  4. Ask someone else: If the board was shared with others, ask if someone still has access. If you were removed, they might be able to re-invite you.
  5. Contact Trello Support: If you still can't access the board and you see it in your activity log, reach out to https://trello.com/contact — include the board name or part of the URL you saved. They can check on the backend.

I hope you recover it soon!
