I want to trial the free version of Trello, not the premium version.

I want to explore the free version of Trelly to see if it is suitable for me, and then potentially upgrade in the future, but not right now.

When I signed up it automatically puts me on the free premoum triam but I don't want that. 

How do I remove the free trial to get familiar with the free version?

This page does not answer the question that the OP asked. Unless you're referring to the page "implying" that the answer is ... "You can't. Get over it." 

The real answer seems to be that the Premium subscription is forced on new users whether they want it or not. If you only want to use the Free version, for example, a new user can simply sign up, then wait...... 14 days.... until the unwanted trial ends and Trello gives the user the account type that they asked for.
