Are stickers available in the iOS version? I can’t see them anywhere in the menu.

also, is there any way to re-position cards on the board to fit around my chosen background? I’ve tried dragging them but they jump back to the left. Doesn’t seem to be any way to place them where I would like them.

Unfortunately, no, stickers are not yet available on the mobile apps, but I'll let the team know that's something you're looking for!

With Trello, cards always have to live in a list, so, no, you're not able to move them around completely freely. You could create additional lists to give the cards a place to go, but that will also cover the background more, so that might not be exactly what you're looking for.
