If I delete or close a board, does the other admin still have access as normal?

I made a board for one of my students. To clear space, I’m wondering if I can remove it from my workspace, but the student wants to keep it. I have made the student an admin too. If I delete the board, will they still have access? Or if I close it, will they still have access as normal?

Welcome to the community!

Since your student wants to keep the board, and they're already an admin, simply leaving the board yourself is a good option:

1. Go to the board.
2. Click "Show Menu" (three dots icon).
3. Select "Member"
4. Find your name and click "Leave Board."

This way:

• You won't see the board in your workspace anymore.
• Your student keeps full control as an admin.

Important: Don't delete the board! That permanently removes it for everyone, including your student.

Another option (that might be less ideal in this case):

• Close the board: Archives the board, making it less visible. Admins (like you and your student) retain full control (Go to the board > "Show Menu" > "More" > "Close Board").

Note: Closing a board only hides it from people outside your Trello workspace.
