If Trello is down, does Trello have a queue of Butler Rules that it would rerun?

If Trello is momentarily down, would Trello queue the Butler automations that did not go through during that time and re-run them? I'm thinking specifically of the email automation you can set up. Would it send the email again?

I'll preface the answer by saying that we fully intend Trello to never be down! We have done, and are continuing to do a lot of work focused on reliability and performance of Trello.

Whether a rule can be re-run depends on the rule trigger, and when & why Trello is down/not responding, and at what point in the execution the error occurs.
In general, Butler will retry requests it makes to Trello, and do its best to complete an automation. However, if Trello is not responding even after several retries, Butler will give up on the automation run, and:

1. add a log entry to rule's command log, stating there was an error
2. attempt to create an error notification in Trello (this may fail, if Trello is actually down, and the automation is failing due to this)

There's quite a lot of failure scenarios for automation rules, and we've done our best to handle them all in a way that ensures the rule is either executed successfully, or we've made the user aware if it was not.
