In trello standard am I able to add locations to my cards?

Welcome to the community
In Trello Standard, you'll not get access to map & attachment functionality to add locations or any links directly, but as you mentioned, you don't care to have the map view, and to just add locations in the card, you can copy the location link and add attachments in the description by hyperlinking the text or add a comment in the card by doing the same hyperlinking and giving it a name as per your choice.
I've added a screenshot below for pricing plans where you can see which feature is included in the standard and premium plans and another screenshot for how you can add a location to each card.
