I enjoy using the custom fields in Trello to add much needed information like dates, numerical data and more in a much more uniform way to my cards.
However, I don't need or want to see all of those fields on the cover of the card. Is there a way to limit which custom fields are shown on the card cover in Trello?
This is especially annoying and impractical when using on a mobile device with less screen real estate.
thanks!
Hi @Mike Sheley When you add articles, photos etc to a card it becomes a cover image. It is great for meal planning boards (for example when scrolling through the photos), however like you said when you use on mobile you would just like to see the card.
Here is an example from my portfolio board, when I add a certification attachment to a card it automatically becomes the cover. You can turn this off by clicking on the image on the card, then clicking the three dots in right hand corner. A menu appears and you can choose "remove cover image". Your card would then still contain the attachments but you wouldn't see it on the main card cover. Thus making your cards easier to scroll on mobile.
