Hi,
Is there any way to dump the contents of a Trello list (card names, descriptions, checklists, comments, images) to a single viewable file for record keeping purposes? Doesn't have to have any fancy formatting, just something like this:
Card 1
Description
Checklist
Comment 1
Comment 2...
Image 1
Image 2...
Card 2...
I looked at Google Docs/Trello integration with Zapier, but that didn’t really seem to fit the bill.
I read a little about TrelloDocs.com, which actually does sound more like what I am attempting to do, but the website looks a little sketchy, plus it does not include Trello comments, which is where much of the content that I want to capture is. (It looks like I’d have to go into every card, and copy all of the individual comments into the description field, if I want this information in the resulting document.)
Any other suggestions welcome - thanks!
Hi @Kerry Stanton,
I wonder if exporting in CSV (available with business class) would help out.
I found this doc though about all sorts of exporting: https://help.trello.com/article/924-making-sense-of-trellos-json-export Maybe you've found this yourself already.
Though @Matthew N's solution seems pretty useful, I'd definitely second that.
Cheers,
Krisz
Hi Kerry
I recommend checking out the power up called Agile Cards. This will allow you to print your board/cards more effectively. The standard views don't pull in comments, so I recommend using the Custom template within Agile.
