When an observer is added to a board and they are a guest in the workspace is there a way with or without a power up for them to tick the check box of a card?

OR is there a way that the board lists and cards can be locked to guests or workspace members and ONLY edititable to admins?

Hi @montanna elliott ! Welcome to the community :) For the moment, Trello doesn't offer really granular user permissions. The observer privileges aren't customizable. Additionally, if a member is added to the board, they can view/edit all cards on the board; it's not possible to restrict edit access to certain cards or lists.

Potentially having a secondary board for your members/observers could work? The idea would be to share the necessary cards they need to be editing to this secondary board; so it's kind of like a "filtered view" of your board. You can sync cards between boards using butler automation or Unito (the latter is a paid power-up but gives you a true sync between boards).
