I am currently on Trello's free version and I tried to add a new member and it says I have to upgrade. However when I look at the pricing it seems to want to include everyone I have assigned one card to, as a "member". Since I am in the property management business, we have several dozen contractors, some of which have just one card. I can't afford to buy a Member lisc. for each of these folks. How can I assign them a card, but not have them as a member? Or am i using the wrong tool? I only use Trello when we have a big project, and it only lasts a couple of months and then Trello goes away until we have another big TI project.
You can have up to 10 collaborators (which includes guests) for free. If you have more than 10 collaborators, then you could buy a license for yourself and have the remaining users as single board guests. There is a wonderful video from Rasmus that explains that in detail https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Trello-questions/single-board-guest/qaq-p/2665296
