Early this week I was getting a notification inside Attachments in Trello to "Connect your lucid-object-provider account". When I clicked on it it had me sign into my Atlassian account to Trello to support Lucid Chart. Previously I would just be able to click on the Displayed Text and it would open to my Lucid Chart links. After I attached my Atlassian account it now just shows as 3 dots and the only options when clicked on are edit, comment and delete.
I held out for a few days to see if it something that would get fixed. I've replicated the issue on multiple computers with different web browsers. I also checked with other people on my team who have not connected their account and it is not an issue for them. Only me who has connected my account.
Anyone else experiencing this issue? Anyone found a solve?
I finally figured it out!
When you click on the "Connect to lucid-object-provider" button. It's asks Lucidchart for website access to Lucidchart documents.
If you go to Lucidchart account setting>User>Apps & Integrations. There is a list of the Authorized Websites and Applications where it lists the websites you have given access to Lucidchart documents.
In that list you will see "confluence-smart-link-resolver-prod". Remove that website and refresh Trello and it will go back to showing the Display Text in the attachment links.
For now it no longer is asking for the "Connect your lucid-object-provider account". If it does show up again I will probably ignore it. My assumtion is that Lucidchart doesn't support smart links currently. At least if it happens again I know how to fix it.
I'm so happy I fixed this, it was driving me crazy the last two weeks. I hope if you have this issue that you can find my solution to fix it for yourself.
Hi there!
If it only occurs with that Power Up, I would guess your best bet is to contact the makers of the Power Up. You may already be aware, but Power Ups are essentially packages of code made by somebody else that run on top of Trello and extend/modify its behavior, and it sounds like that code may be breaking something. The ones who write and maintain that code would be the makers of the Power Up. They usually have contact information on their Power Up page.
Contacting them and letting them know will probably get you the fastest fix, to my best guess.

I do not have a Power Up for Lucid Chart. I tried to disable all the power ups and the issue persists.
It was only after I clicked the "Connect your lucid-object-provider account" and signed into my Atlassian account did this issue happen.
It's been two weeks of having this issue and it getting frustrating having to edit the link highlight it and have it open in a new tab. It's really slowing down my productivity.

I did some more digging after replying to the above response.
I noticed that on a different Trello Tile there was an attachement link to a Lucid Chart from another team mate that wasn't unclickable with the 3 dots and had the "Connect your lucid-object-provider account" text next to it. If you hover over that text it says "Connect your lucid-object-provider account to collaborate on work across Atlassian products, just like I saw 2 weeks ago. It also had a link to "Learn more about Smart Links". I've added link below.
https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/insert-links-and-anchors/#Smart-links
I'm still trying to read all the documentation on the support page and have tried to change my default smart link settings, but haven't solved the issue yet.
I tried to click on the button to connect and the same thing happened when I clicked on it 2 weeks ago. It redirects to an Atlassian page then the Display Text button disapears and is left with 3 dots with only edit, comment and delete as options.
It's interesting that its per user that adds an attachement link to Trello. Unfortuneately I broke all links to Lucid Chart from that user, but I feel like I'm getting closer to solving the issue.
