Managing multiple projects with one calendar

Hi All,

I have a number of projects with many tasks and I am struggling to find a way to plan my week and day so that I stay on track with each project.  I use the Calendar power up on each board but I feel I need a way to quickly see all the deadlines across all projects/boards so that I can plan my day/week etc.

Thank you.

Thanks for reaching out in our Community!

Currently, there isn't a global calendar view within Trello.

We recommend the Planyway Power-Up to view due dates from other boards on an individual board's calendar, or you can add each of your boards' iCal feeds to Google Calendar, or another app which subscribes to iCal feeds: Using Trello with Google Calendar.

To make that process a little bit simpler, there's also a calendar connector Power-Up from Cronofy that can help you connect multiple Trello boards to your preferred calendar app: https://info.trello.com/power-ups/cronofy

There are also some calendars that integrate directly with Trello. You can read more about those in our blog post here: https://blog.trello.com/5-calendar-apps-replace-sunrise/

Hope this helps!

Hi Blair,  This is great info.  Thanks.

I do remember seeing somewhere that you can duplicate cards and the original card on it's original board will be updated.  Is this correct?

If so, I'm wondering whether an alternative to the Calendar would be to make an active board that you duplicate all your soon-to-be-due cards and then you could have a calendar in that board.  I know this is a bit more work but could it be an option?

Thanks again,

Andrew

It sounds like you could try that! While card syncing isn't a native feature of Trello, you can add a  link to the original card on the new card so that you can refer back to it easily. When you attach a link to a Trello card on another card, it will display a preview of that card, and will show which board and list it belongs to You can also click on the "Connect cards" link to make it a 2-way link, so that both cards link to each other.

Additionally, there are a few third-party Power-Ups that can help you keep cards in sync, like Mirror by Unito. You can read more about those here:
