Meetings in Trello - a plea to developers

Hello Atlassians,

We switched from Workboard to Trello earlier this year and so far so good. The new Team Table View (which I recommend) addressed one of the shortcomings of Trello vs Workboard, namely being able to edit due date and status from a view of all your cards across numerous boards without going into individual boards.

Only one thing remains to be fixed - meetings. Workboard allowed you to create meetings, which were different from tasks, and those meetings would be pushed through automatically to your google calendar. Trello at the moment only lets you sink all your cards to google calendar which would be a mess. Trello developers - the solution is relatively easy. We just need a meeting power up. If you add that power up to a card it automatically synchs the due date with your google calendar (or other calendar you use).

Do you use zoom for your meetings by any chance?

Hi Michael, thanks for getting in touch. We use a Zoom, Teams, Google Hangout, even Skype. Whichever. How would this be relevant to creating cards for meetings in Trello and automatically exporting them to calendar?

I'm thinking more generally about the workflow of teams that use Trello & Zoom.  https://marketplace.zoom.us/ Not specifically the single card to calendar syncing request.  So I just wanted to know which tool you used for the meeting.  Thanks!

Hi Felix,

Thanks for that. I don't think that is the answer as it exports an entire board rather than individual cards to the linked calendar (eg. google). What Trello needs to match Workboard is an App that allows you to synch or export individual cards.
