I love the new calendar view where you can drag and drop tasks into your calendar. However, there doesn't seem to be any connection between where I put them on the calendar (day/time) and the due date on the card.
Is there a connection I am missing, or something I need to set up so that when I add/move things on my calendar, the due date/time on the card automatically changes? Currently, I'm having to do double work to add it to the calendar, then update the due date on the card, which seems like it should update automatically. Thank you!
You are right, there is no connection between the Planner time and the Due Date for the following reason:
I hope this makes sense.
To make this connection more apparent, two updates are being considered by the Trello product team:
@Gaurav Kataria thank you very much for your response. That makes sense. Those 2 updates sound like they will certainly help the current situation. I'm looking forward to those being released! I would like to propose then being able to sort your cards on a list by planner time blocks, like you can now with the due dates. :)
Do you know if there is any plan in the future to have the option/setting to link the planner time and due date together? The scenario you're describing makes perfect sense for larger tasks; however, if you have a smaller task that could/should be done in one sitting, it would certainly make the task assignment process quicker without having to update the due date every time. Is that something the team is considering as a future feature?
Thanks again!!

Hi team,
A similar question - will time blocks upgrades be able to show over a few days in the calendar ? I have jobs that I want to enter which is essentially me being away on a job site for 3 days at a time. So I want to be able to see that in my calendar and plan tasks around that.
