Dear Atlassian & Trello Team:

I just upgraded today on July 8, 2025 upon a suggestion from your product. Unfortunately, the performance is very slow on the desktop with the Chrome metrics indicating:

  • About 5 seconds for the Largest Contentful Paint (LCP)

I have already disabled Chrome's graphics acceleration and disabled the Chrome extensions. I had the same amount of cards from the old Trello and had no major issues adding, moving, or removing cards.

I have Chrome Version 137.0.7151.70 (Official Build) (x86_64), macOS 15.4 (24E248).

Please let me know of any other information you require to help debug the situation.

There was a fix released to address that. If you refresh your browser window then the slowness should go away.

Hey @gaurav kataria , thank you for responding. I just saw this and refreshed my browser and also ensure it was the latest update (via restarting). I'm still getting a slowness with:

Largest Contentful Paint (LCP)
6.00 s

Any other suggestions?

@John Huan Vu can you try enabling Chrome's graphics acceleration and let me know, does that resolve the issue for you?

Thanks!

@Andrea Crawford , I did enable Chrome's graphics acceleration and it did help. That is quite unusual. I had it disabled because it was slowly down other applications. Will Trello do any future updates so that it does NOT rely on graphics acceleration?
