Hi everyone,
I’ve noticed a recent behavior in Trello that’s been a bit disruptive to my workflow, and I’m wondering if there’s a way to turn it off.
When I hover over a card on my board, a small checkmark icon appears in the top-left corner that says "Mark complete" I believe this is part of the card completion feature. The issue is that when this icon shows up, the card title text shifts slightly to the right, which is quite distracting - especially when you're trying to quickly scan or interact with multiple cards.
Is there currently a way to disable this hover behavior or hide the “Mark complete” option altogether?
I use Trello primarily for project and task management, and I rely heavily on visual consistency and layout stability. This small UI change throws me off more than I expected.
Appreciate any tips or workarounds if this can’t be toggled off directly.
Thanks!
Alex
I was able to resolve it by myself. Steps (for board admins):
Repeat that for every board you want this behavior to be turned off.
You can still open an individual card and mark it as complete on the top left of the card.
