If I have the planner open I can drag tasks into my calendar. But is it also possible to change the calendar meetings in Trello itself?
You can move the time blocks that you schedule within Planner, but it is not possible to edit other calendar meetings from within Planner.
The short answer is Yes — natively you can’t edit arbitrary external calendar meetings from inside Trello. The built-in Calendar Power-Up (iCal feed) is essentially one-way: moving a Trello card with a due date updates the event in your external calendar, but changes made in that external calendar (or other “calendar meetings”) do not flow back into Trello.
If you need true two-way behavior (so that moving or editing the calendar event can update the Trello card and vice versa), you have to add a third-party sync layer:
So: dragging cards into your calendar (and adjusting due dates) works out of the box, but to “change calendar meetings in Trello” (i.e., have external calendar edits show up back in Trello) requires a sync add-on like Cronofy, Unito, or Planyway.
