I have one team, a set of boards, admins and team members such that each admin can create, see, edit and delete any board, and each team member that is not an admin is only part of one board (the only one they can see and edit but can't close).

How can I prevent a team member that is not an admin to create a board as part of the team?

Hey @cesar salcedo castillo!

If someone is a member of the team, then there isn’t a way to restrict their ability to create boards and make them belong to that team. However, you can remove them from the team but keep them as members of the board they need access to. That way they can use and interact with that board like normal but cannot create or edit (or even see) the other boards belonging to that team. They will show as Single Board Guests on the team page.

Just note that Business Class does charge for each person who is a Guest on more than one board. If you don’t have Business Class, or if your guests are only ever on one board, you don’t have to worry about this.

Hope this helps!

Thanks @Devon Henderson

Piggybacking off of that, Trello Business Class does offer team board creation restrictions as well: https://help.trello.com/article/710-setting-up-your-business-class-team#Visibility-and-control

Cheers!
